Kenneth Ramos is a DPE for airplanes and helicopters, authorized to examine ATP, Commercial, Instrument, and Private ratings, including type ratings for CE500, CE510, CE525, and CE560XL. His aviation journey began at Cleveland Aviation High School, followed by earning an A&P Mechanic License and serving as a helicopter mechanic in the U.S. Army. Over the years, he has held roles as a mechanic, inspector, aviation safety officer, pilot, maintenance manager, and test pilot, including Director of Maintenance for the Columbus Police Helicopter Unit. Designated as a Pilot Examiner by the FAA in 2004, he holds ATP certifications in multi-engine and single-engine airplanes, helicopters, and various jet type ratings, including Cessna Citations and the S70 Blackhawk. He retired as a Sergeant from the Columbus Police after 20 years and from the FAA.
